The Broken Film camera

These are the first rolls of film I ever shot, and I had no idea how they would turn out until I had them developed. To my surprise, I was genuinely pleased with the results. I originally discovered my film camera—a Pentax K1000—at a thrift store in Louisville, Colorado. The latch for loading film was missing, so it was definitely a fixer-upper. Still, I told myself I could repair it, and I did. When I returned to North Carolina, I had no idea that this old, broken camera would go on to capture some of my favorite film shots to date.
